The Sandy Nickel (SN) plating process can yield a white sandy bright nickel deposit, creating a mechanical sand spray finishing on a smooth metal surface. Its sandy finishing with comfortable brightness is highly attractive and suitable for decorative applications in industries such as watch & clock manufacturing, jewelry, lock ware, bathroom and kitchen ware, electric parts, and vehicle parts. The final electro-plating can be done with gold, silver, palladium, chromium, gun color, or titanium color. In some cases, the sandy nickel should be plated selectively on the bright nickel surface to achieve a two-tone finish.
